Thornton Minor Hockey Association is happy to help share an exciting local opportunity for our players and families this summer! Canadian All Star Sports will be hosting a Ball Hockey Camp at the Thornton Community Centre, offering two great weeks of skill development, fun, and game play for young athletes. 

Congratulations to our U18 Tigers on a great weekend! A big thank you to team manager David for keeping everyone updated and sharing the outcome of another successful tournament for the team:

HUGE SHOUT OUT to our U15 Thornton Tigers who fought hard all weekend and came away with an undefeated Championship win at the Bob Beaumont U15 LL Tournament in Parry Sound! We are so proud of these kids and the hard work they continue to put in. Way to bring home the gold, Tigers!

We would like to send out a huge congratulations to our U13-2 team! They battled their way through the group stage, finishing first out of the six teams in their group. They went on to win their semi-final this morning and fought for gold in the championship game. It was a close game and ended with an overtime goal from the other team. This team should be incredibly proud of the hard work and determination that the have shown throughout this tournament! Congratulations Tigers! Second place out of 24 teams is a big accomplishment!

The Thornton Tigers U18 hockey team captured the Clarington Classic championship in an exciting moment, scoring just 12 seconds into 3-on-3 overtime to win the final after a scoreless regulation game.
