Thornton Tigers Local League Tyke Team Wins Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament

The Thornton Tigers Local League Tyke Team participated in the Bradford Blue and Gold Tournament this past weekend. On Friday, the Tigers started the tournament with a win against the London Nationals.  The team continued to skate well and defeated the next two teams, Lefroy Ice Breakers and Walden Rietze & Hickey.  The championship game ended up in a rematch against the London National team. The Tigers were focused and continued to skate strong throughout the whole game. The final score ended at 5-0 to win the championship!   The Tigers went the whole tournament scoring 35 goals for and ZERO against.   

The coaching staff are very proud of all the kids as they have worked hard improved a lot throughout the season.  Keep up the great work!  Congrats Thornton Tigers Tyke Team on a great 1st Tournament Win!
