The U18 Thornton Tigers capped off a dominant run at the Dap & Duncan Memorial Championship, going a perfect 6-0 to claim the tournament title in commanding fashion.
Hosted by the South Muskoka Minor Hockey Association in the scenic Muskoka region of Ontario, the annual Dap & Duncan Memorial Championship brings together competitive minor local league teams from across the province for a weekend of high-energy action and spirited play. This year's event showcased the Tigers relentless drive, defensive solidity, and sharp offensive execution as they navigated a challenging bracket without a single loss.
The championship run culminated in a hard-fought final where the Tigers overcame a gritty opponent with a balanced attack and clutch contributions from the entire roster. The undefeated streak highlighted the team's chemistry, work ethic, and ability to elevate their game when it mattered most.
