Thornton Tigers Tyke win OCHL March Break Classic
Submitted By Sherry Duguid on Mon 03 20, 17
The Thornton Tiger Tyke Local League team participated in OCHL Annual March Break Classic this past weekend. The Tigers started the tournament with a win verse Innisfil #1 team on Friday.  The team continued to skate well and defeated the next two teams Innisfil #2 and Clarington.  The championship game ended up a rematch against the Innisfil #1 team.  The game went in overtime and the team ended up winning the game with 39 seconds left on the clock.  The coaching staff are very proud of the players and are looking forward to our final tournament at the end of the month in Barrie. Keep up the great work!  Congrats Thornton Tigers to a great 2nd Tournament Win!
From the Coaching Staff, Coach Rudy
