Thornton Tiger Families,
As you have
most likely heard by now, the Simcoe-Muskoka Health Unit is being placed back
into the Grey-Lockdown classification of the Provincial Government’s COVID-19
response framework at 12:01am on Monday, March 1, 2021. Under this Grey
classification, indoor sports facilities are closed for minor sports.
The rest of our season is still unknown. We are committed to keeping you informed as soon as we receive further information from the Township.
This news is disappointing to everyone involved in Thornton Minor Hockey, from our board of directors to the coaches, parents, and most of all our players that were just getting ready to go back to being on the ice doing what they love.
