A Message from our President
WELCOME EVERYONE!
Welcome to the 2023 - 2024 hockey season!
Now that teams are formed, coaches and team staff have been appointed, and games are underway, we look forward to an exciting 2023-2024 hockey season!
Thornton Minor Hockey Association (TMHA) has a strong hockey community supported by dedicated volunteers, members, players, and loyal hockey fans who make our sport great. TMHA strives to be a leader in the hockey community, and we take pride in fostering a culture of good sportsmanship, respect and integrity.
In my 7+ years as a volunteer and board member with the association, I enjoy the opportunity to give back my time and energy to this association, which has provided my own children with many years of great coaching, and wonderful experiences. I have also enjoyed working with our many volunteers - who continue to provide services and opportunities for players in our association to enjoy.
I am eager to forge ahead with our CORE values of Integrity, Innovation, Transparency, Consistency, Collaboration and Responsiveness as we are working hard to create a positive hockey culture that will impact every aspect of the sport in our great community. By setting higher standards to adhere to, we hope that others will be attracted and engaged in collaborating and communicating effectively in the best interest of all we serve.
We are continuously finding ways to improve as an organization and to be as transparent and efficient as possible.
A special thank you to our volunteers, coaches and staff for the countless hours and sacrifices they make, visibly and behind the scenes. This hard work and dedication will benefit the growth of TMHA, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. I encourage anyone wishing to volunteer to do so, as the continued success of our non-profit organization depends mainly on volunteers and the participation of our members. Let's all play a part in making hockey a positive experience for everyone.

I would like to thank the parents; over the next couple of weeks, the snow will start to fall, and the cold air will be felt inside and outside the rink. Cheer loud, stay warm and enjoy your season. Take it from me, I've been through it all, and this time goes by fast. Cherish the wins, the losses and everything in between.
