Peewee 1, 2018-2019 (Thornton Minor Hockey)

Thornton Tigers Peewee 1 made our club very proud at the Stayner hockey tournament this weekend.  The kids played smart and hard all day long.  Our first game was a huge 7-0 win over Barrie Red.   We struggled a bit in game 2 losing 2-1 to Erindale but kept our positive attitude for our third game.   It was an epic game 3 going into double overtime followed by a 7 player per team shootout.  Thornton pulled off a win of 5-4 over Oro!   The consolation round secured us 3rd place out of the 8 teams that participated.  Great kids, coaching staff and parent support made for a fantastic first ...
